Maintenance
As with any machine, to ensure optimal
performance you must conduct regular
maintenance.
Bearings
Most of the bearings are sealed and require no
lubrication.
The following should be lubricated every 80 hours
of use.
Cutter head
The cutter head has two bearings that required
greasing. There are white stickers pointing to their
general location. There are two grease fittings, one
at each end of the cutter head. The grease fitting on the front side of the jointer is
located in a small hole cut into the top of the front base housing. The grease fitting
on the back side of the machine is located on the top of the jointer base just under
the bottom edge of the fence.
