Blade guard 

 

Dust hose 

Fit the dust hose support to the jointer table as shown. 
Fit the dust hose to the guard and the main dust port as shown. 
Ensure that the hose is clamped tight, as you do not want it to come 
off during a cut. 
Connect a 4-inch dust hose between your dust collector and the main 
dust port. Ensure that the connection is secure. You will require a 
dust collector with a capacity of a minimum of 1000 CUFM, the 
stronger the better, as the machine can produce a lot of dust.
