channel and it will stay on that channel until about seven seconds after conversation and then resume
scanning. To activate this feature, press the SCAN button and the Scan mark will appear on the LCD. If
you want to stop scanning, push the SCAN button again or the PTT bar on the microphone. This will stop
the scanning function.
5 - CHANNEL 9 & RESET
Press this button in case of emergency. This button can also be used as Reset button when the radio is not
working properly. Press this button and switch on the radio to reset. RS will be displayed on the LCD and
your radio will be reset to its initial conditions.
6 - CHANNEL UP & DOWN
Press the channel UP and DOWN buttons to select a channel.
When the UP and DOWN buttons are pressed, the channels are rapidly changed upward or downward.
7 - POWER CORD CONNECTION
Wire the supplied power cord to the battery (connect the red wire to +13.8V and the black wire to battery
ground).
