CLEANING / MAINTENANCE
After using, turn off and unplug, disassemble the pieces then wash, dry and re-assemble.
NOTE
: Some ingredients, like curry, citrus, tomatoes or carrots, may cause stains.
To avoid staining, clean off any traces of those ingredients as quickly as possible.
Work bowl/blades Cleaning
1.- The work bowl can be completely submerged in water so it can be put in the dishwasher
without any problems.
2.- If you don't have a dishwasher, put a solution of water and soap inside the work bowl and push
the “PULSE” button for 5 seconds. Repeat the cycle 5 times.
3.- If there are still remains of food stuck to the stainless steel surface afterwards, use a
non-abrasive cleaner designed exclusively for stainless steel.
IMPORTANT:
Before starting the manual cleaning process , REMEMBER to remove the
blades to avoid possible injury. To remove the blades, follow the steps in
the “PARTS DESCRIPTION” section.
4.- Holding the blades by the base, place them beneath a stream of water. Use a brush to clean
any food particles in hard to reach places.
The base of the appliance where the motor clutch is located can be cleaned with a damp cloth.
Do not put the body under a stream of water or else the unit can become irreparably damaged.
Dry the machine off after cleaning and make sure to store it in a dry well ventilated place.
Store the unit in a dry well ventilated place when it will not be used for a long period.
