Note: it may occur that the correction (guider imaging) frequency is so frequent that
both of the correction signals could not be put out fully. In this case the new correction
signal gets active and the current is interrupted. It may delay the DEC corrections if
the RA must be corrected continuously.

dead time

: (

decimal, 0..248 ms (31 ms step)

) profile

If Exclusive AG out mode is used, this value defines the wait time (no AG signal)
between the signal changes. The default value (used in preceding firmwares) is 62 ms.
Use LEFT and RIGHT buttons to change the value.

This is a workaround for some mounts that can’t recognize/handle perfectly sudden
AG signal direction changes.

AE mask warning

: (

switch

) profile

This enables a warning before starting and AutoExposure program. The warning is
shown if the focuser mask is on or off the telescope. Only after one second can the
user affirm the start with SET button or cancel it with ESC.

Emulation mode

: (

switch

) global

If this mode is checked, the Camera’s star data is ignored and the HC uses an emulated
mount and guiding setup, an “emulated star”. This is shown as a single dot in the
guiding window. A cross mark shows the current guiding center position. The guiding
window does not folow this “star”, it is held constant. This mode is very useful at
testing and getting acquainted with the functions in room.
Some latency by the mount, seeing and the effect of the integration time is also
emulated. There are no backlash in this system.

The emulated setup is the following:

- RA is horizontally

- DEC is vertically

- Focal length is 180mm

- AG speed is 0.5x

- RA is 0.8x DEC speed

Factory reset

: (

button

Using this button You can reset ALL the saved parameters/variables in the device
back to factory (firmware) default. All active function will be stopped like
autoguiding, Camera will be turned off and file will be closed. After resetting the
variables, the firmware continues from this screen.

WARNING

: please note that ALL variables are reset, regardless of what You know

about. You have to check and set them all again for all the profiles. Here’s a checklist
that could help You to do so:

all 4 AutoExposure programs and prg. list

latest calibration (need to do a new one), axis inversion

 RA/DEC guiding parameters and backlash

image processing mode (resets to OLD and full window processing!)

guider scope focal length, mount’s AG speed and CCD binning

 RD (dithering) settings
