There are several ways to modify the fume hood for your individual requirements.  
These include the addition of work surfaces, service fixtures, air monitor, 
distillation grids, electrical duplex outlets, and ceiling enclosures. 
 

Installing Work Surfaces  

Contact Labconco Customer Service for ordering information of optional work 
surfaces. 
 

Installing Ceiling Enclosures Above the 
Fume Hood 

Your Protector Fume Hood has mounting holes to accept a ceiling enclosure to 
close off the area between the top of the hood and the ceiling.  Contact Labconco 
Customer Service for ordering information.  Labconco offers both non-adjustable 
fixed height ceiling enclosures as well as adjustable ceiling enclosures per the 
charts below.  Other special sizes are available upon request.
