The advertised capacity is the maximum capacity calculated with the number of shelves sold with the
cellar and 75 cl Bordeaux type bottles according to standard EN62552:2013; in a head-to-tail position.
The shelves of the Apogée cellars have been sized to accommodate several bottle formats, such as:
Bordelaise, Champenoise, Bourgogne.
If you wish to age bottles of different formats, we recommend that you alternate a standard Bordeaux
type bottle between your bottles of larger formats, this recommendation will allow you to avoid any
storage problems.
It is indeed possible that the juxtaposition of atypical or imposing format bottles will force you to only
partially use the spaces on your shelf. Alternating a standard bottle (Bordeaux 75cl) with an atypical or
imposing bottle will allow you to use all the available slots on your shelf.
