Filling the water tank
To operate the machine the water tank must first be filled.
Warning: To fill the tank, always use fresh drinking water only. Hot or sparkling water
can damage the machine. Before starting the machine, always check that there is
enough water in it.
• Remove the tank from the machine.
• Fill the tank with fresh drinking water.
• Insert the full tank in the machine and then insert the tube inside the tank. Check that the hose is NOT compressed and
that the water does not overflow from the tank.
• Close the door.
USING THE MACHINE
Start up
To turn the machine on do the following:
• Press the ON/OFF button. The coffee temperature light on the front of the machine turns on. In this phase the machine is
heating up.
• Immediately press the brewing button. This procedure fills the water circuit.
• After 30 seconds press the brewing button again to complete the circuit filling phase.
• Wait for the machine temperature light to turn off. At this point the machine is ready for brewing.
Coffee brewing
The machine works only with compatible pods. Do NOT use pods other than those
recommended. Each pod can be used to brew one coffee. Do not reuse previously used
pods.
Warning: The area in which the pods are inserted is near the boiler. DO NOT put
fingers inside the compartment. Danger of burns!
- Raise the pod holder by lifting the lever upwards.
- Insert the pod into the pod holder perfectly centered in the filter.
