FUEL – INSPECTION, FILLING, RECOMMENDATIONS
Fuel level Inspection / Refilling
If the low fuel indicator on the dash begins to flash, refill the fuel
tank with nonleaded gasoline as soon as possible.
Fuel Tank Filler
To add fuel to your scooter, follow this procedure:
1.
Press and pull the fuel cap protective cover.
2.
Use the ignition key to unlock the cap.
3.
Turn the key clockwise to unlock the cap.
4.
Once unlocked, lift the cap from the fuel filler neck.
5.
To install the fuel filler cap, press it back into place on
the fuel filler neck.
6.
Rotate the key counterclockwise to lock the cap into
place.
7.
Remove the key and close the protective cover.
Fuel Recommendation
Use nonleaded gasoline with a research octane of number 91 or
higher to prevent spark plug and exhaust component damage.
After refueling, be sure to close the filler cap securely.
