7 Access
You can access the switch in following three ways:
7.1 Access through Console Port
Step 1: Connect the console port of the switch to the 9-pin serial port of a PC with the
delivered DB9-RJ45 console cable.
Step 2: Open Hyper Terminal in Windows OS. On the Windows desktop, click Start →
All Programs → Accessories → Communications → Hyper Terminal.
Step 3: Create a new connection "Switch", as shown in the below figure.

Step 4: Select the correct communication port to connect, as shown in the below figure.
