9  Management   Access 

Access the switch by one of the following three ways. 

9.1  Connected through Console Port 

1. Install the driver for Mini USB onto your PC. The driver “Mini USB driver.exe” is 
in the software download folder, which is on the supplied CD. 
2. Use the Console cable that is equipped with Mini USB connector at one end 
and U SB c onnector a t t he ot her en d t o co nnect t he C onsole i nterface o n t he 
switch with the USB port on PC.   
3. On   Windows  desktop, cl ick  Start 

→  All  programs  →  Accessories  → 

Communications 

→ Hyper Terminal.
