Using the mini-VSAT Broadband Service
Once the TracPhone V7 modem establishes a connection with the
mini-VSAT Broadband service, you can perform all of the same
Internet tasks you perform at home:
• Internet browsing
• Weather and chart updates
• Instant messaging
• Accessing corporate networks (VPNs)
• Data transfers
NOTE: The system must be activated before you can use it. See
for details.
High-bandwidth applications, such as peer-to-peer file sharing,
web cameras, streaming media, and high-speed gaming, are not
supported by fixed-rate service plans. For details, be sure to read
