Final operations
Introducing air to
the hydraulic
cylinder
The lift arm hydraulic cylinders need a cushion of air to enable them
to function properly, for example when folding out on a slope. Proceed
as follows:
Couple the machine to the tractor.
Connect the machine hydraulics to the tractor.
Position the main frame horizontally with the tractor's power lever.
Use the tractor's hydraulic control device to fold back the lift arms.
Secure the tractor against rolling away, shut off the engine and
remove the ignition key.
Close the ball valve.
Remove the valve cap on the lift arm hydraulic cylinders.
Press against the valve with the valve cap until air can no longer
be heard flowing in.
Close the valve with the valve cap.
