Setting up work

Fitting the PTO shaft

Make sure that you fit the PTO shaft in the correct installation position.
There is a mark on the guard tube of the PTO shaft.



Check the length of the PTO shaft and shorten it if necessary.



Remove the locking screw between the guard tube and guard
cone.



Twist the guard cone and guard tube in opposite directions, so that
the slide ring arrester is directly over the slots in the guard cone.



Push back the guard cone and guard tube.



Push the joint on the machine into the shaft.



Refit the PTO shaft guard and secure with the locking screw.

Ensure that the shaft securely locks in place.
