Making adjustments to the machine
This chapter explains how to adjust the machine.
Tightening torque bolted clamps
It is very important to tighten the bolted clamps with 589 - 638 Nm (60
- 65 kpm) torque. Loosening of the bolts may otherwise lead to ex-
treme tension and breakage of the frame.
Tine distance
You can adjust the tine distance as desired. Refer to the CLG-II as-
sembly manual for instructions.
Wheel position
When the machine sinks at the rear during cultivating, position the
wheels backward.
To adjust
> Loosen the nut
> Adjust the position
> Retighten the nut with 589 - 638 Nm (60 - 65 kpm) torque
Auto-reset spring
configuration
•
The Auto-Reset springs are well configured when the tines do not
release during cultivating, unless an object is hit.
•
When soil type or conditions change, you may find the Auto-reset
spring configuration incorrect. You can change the configuration
accordingly.
To change the spring configuration
> Screw out the screw until the spring tension is fully released
> Change the Auto-reset spring configuration
> Add some grease to the screw for smooth screwing
> Screw in the screw until the spring length from pin to pin is 69 cm.
