INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

-CONTINUED-

STEP 6

On the outside of the trunk lid, carefully drill a 1/4” hole at the center
of the marked locations. Remove masking tape from around the
mounting holes.

Tip: You may want to drill a smaller  diameter pilot hole first. This will
lessen the chance of the drill “walking” and harming the finish. While
drilling the rear holes, try to match the angle of the rear mounting legs.

STEP 7

Locate provided two (2) cup washers, four (4) rubber washers, (2) flat
washers, and two (2) 10-24 x 1” Button Head Cap Screws. Place a flat
washer followed by a rubber washer onto each of the screws.

STEP 8

Refer to PIC 2 and 3. From the inside of the lid insert the screw washer
assembly through the front mounting hole. On the outside of the
lid, place a rubber washer followed by the cupped washer onto the
protruding screw. Align the rack’s front foot with the hardware and
fasten it to the lid. Fully tighten hardware, but do not overtighten.

STEP 9

FOR ‘01’-’17 MODELS ONLY

Locate provided two (2) rubber spacers with adhesive backing. Remove
the backing from the spacers. From the inside of the trunk lid, align
and place the spacers over the

REAR

 drilled mounting holes. Reinstall

the inner surface of the trunk lid in the reverse order of which it was
removed in Step 5.

FOR ‘18+ MODELS

Proceed to Step 10.

STEP 10

Locate provided two (2) cup washers, four (4) rubber washers, (2) flat
washers, and two (2) 10-24 x 1-1/4” Button Head Cap Screws. Place a
flat washer followed by a rubber washer onto each of the screws.

STEP 11

From the inside of the lid insert the screw washer assembly through the
rear mounting hole. On the outside of the lid, place a rubber washer
followed by the cupped washer onto the protruding screw. Align the
rack’s rear foot with the hardware and fasten it to the lid. Fully tighten
hardware, but do not overtighten.
