How to operate the appliance
Temperature adjustment
* There are 8 possible settings of the refrigerator knob:
“0”–theapplianceisoff
“1”–highesttemperatureintherefrigerator(warmest)
“2”–“6”–intermediatesettings
“7”–lowesttemperatureintherefrigerator(coldest)

Do not fill the refrigerator compartment with products before it is cooled down.
Storage of products in the refrigerator
*Productsshallbeplacedonplates,incontainersorpackagedinplasticfoil.
Distribute the products
uniformly over the entire sur fa ce of the shelves.
.Becarefultoavoidfoodproducts
touchingthebackwall,sinceitmaycausefrostingorwettingoftheproducts.

Do not place vessels with hot con tents in the refrigerator.
*Productswhicheasilyabsorbforeignsmells,likebutter,milk,cottagecheese,andthosewhich
emitstrongsmells,likefish,curedmeat,cheese–shouldbeplacedontheshelves
packagedinfoilorintightcontainers.
* Food products should be sto red in appropriate cooling areas according to their type and
sensitivity.Whenplacingfoodproductsinsidethecompartmentpleaseconsultthe
photograph.
*Vegetablesshouldbedriedthoroughlybeforeplacingintherefrigerator.Toomuchmoisture
reducesstoragetimeofvegetables,particularlytheleafyones.
*Vegetablesshouldnotbewashedbeforeplacingintherefrigerator.Washingremovesnaturalprotec-
tivebarriers,thereforeitisrecommendedtowashvegetablesimmediatelybeforeuse.
*Storingvegetableswithhighwatercontentcausescondensateformationabovethevegetable
container;thiswillnotaffecttheappliance’sefficiency.
*Note!Donotallowdirectcontactofoilandfatswithplasticelementsorthedoorseal.
Defrosting the refrigerator
Frostformsonthebackwalloftherefrigeratorcompartment.Itisremovedautomatically.
Inthecourseofdefrostingimpuritiesmaygetintothedrainholetogetherwithdefrostwater.
Thismaycausecloggingofthedrain.
Insuchcasethedraincanbecarefullyclearedwithaforcingdevice(Fig.7).
