for connection and functions

Only Küpperbusch hobs may be connected to Küpperbusch cookers.

The cookers may only be connected to the mains, maintained and repai-
red by a qualified electrician according to valid safety regulations. Work
carried out incorrectly places your safety at risk.

Do not put the appliance into operation unless it has been built in!

The surfaces of the oven door and the appliance are very hot when in
operation. Always keep children away!

Connection leads of electrical appliances may not be placed on the hot
cooking zones or get jammed in the hot oven door.

Steam and/or pressure cleaning machines must not be used to clean
the oven! The appliance could be damaged in such a way that your life
could be at risk.

The cooker is to be used only for the preparation of food in the home.

WARNING:
The appliance must be earthed!

for the cooking surface

Overheated fats and oils may spontaneously ignite. Food involving the
use of fats and oils, e.g. chips, may only be cooked under supervision.
Never extinguish ignited fats and oils with water! Put the lid on, turn off
the hotplate and remove the pan.

If cracks, fractures or any other defects appear in your glass ceramic
hob, switch your cooker off. Disconnect the fuse.

With glass ceramic hobs with a warming zone, it is possible for the war-
ming zone to be switched on unintentionally or by a defective electronic
component. For this reason, no objects which pose a general hazard
may be left on the warming zone even after use.

Do not place aluminium foil or plastic on the cooking zones.

Do not place combustible or ignitable objects upon the cooking area
which might be dangerous if the appliance is switched on in unintentio-
nally.

for the oven

When carrying out repairs and replacing oven light bulbs, the cooker
must be disconnected from the mains (switch off the fuse).

Never store any objects in your oven which could cause a hazard if the
oven is unintentionally switched on.

Take special care when working in the hot oven. Use a dish cloth, oven
gloves or similar.

The oven door must close well. In the event of damage to the door sea-
ling, hinges, sealing surfaces or to the glass pane, do not use your coo-
ker until it has been repaired and checked by a qualified person.

Caution! When opening and closing the oven door, do not reach into the
hinge. Risk of injury!

Always close the oven door completely when preparing food in the oven.

Keep at least 5 cm away from the grill and top heat.

Remove excess materials and packaging. The cooker must be cleaned befo-
re you use it to prepare food for the first time.

Clean the glass ceramic hob or conventional hob, baking trays, drip pan
etc. with a damp cloth and a little detergent.

Heating the hob

(not for glass ceramic hobs)

Consecutively heat up the hotplates for 5 mi-
nutes each at the highest setting.
Air the kitchen well because of the “new
smell”.

Heating the oven

Close the oven door.
Heat up the oven with top and bottom heat
at 250 °C for 60 minutes.
Air the kitchen well at the same time.
