Operating the keys

The keys described here expect the pressing of a (selection) key 

to be

followed

 by the pressing of a subsequent key.

The next key will need to be pressed 

within 10 seconds

, otherwise the

selection will be deleted.
The Plus/Minus keys can be touched individually or be permanently pressed.

Switching on the hob and cooking zones

1. Press the 

ON/OFF key 

    until the power setting displays indicate 0. A

short signal will sound. The controls are ready for operation.

2. Immediately use the 

Plus key

  

or 

the 

Minus key

   of a cooking zone

to select a cooking level.
Pressing the Minus key will set the hob at power setting 4.
Pressing the Plus key will set the hob at the automatic parboiling mode at
power setting 9 (see to the section on “automatic parboiling mode”).

3. The cooking zones may now be used for cooking.

Switching off a cooking zone

4. a) Press the 

Minus key

   several times until the power setting display

shows 0, or
b) Press the 

Minus key

   and the 

Plus key

   once at the same time.

The cooking zone is switched off direct irrespective of the power setting
or
c) 

Press the ON/OFF key

  . The entire hob will be switched off (all of

the cooking zones are switched off).

Switching off the hob

5. Press the 

ON/OFF key

  . The hob will be completely switched off,

irrespective of any settings.

Two-circuit / three-circuit connection

(only for cooking zones with several circuits)
Two-circuit / three-circuit connection of the respective cooking zone can only
be effected after the corresponding cooking zone has been switched on.

1. Select the desired cooking level 1-9.

2. Press the 

dual-circuit/triple-circuit key

 

 to activate the second

or third circuit.
The control lamp for dual circuit/triple circuit will light up.

3. Pressing the 

dual-circuit/triple circuit key again 

 

 will switch off

the outer circuit.
The control lamp for dual circuit/triple circuit will go off.
