The warning light is
on
Check:
- battery status
- in the charge circuit
- in the connectors
- in battery connecting lugs
- in the power cable
The KMS208 does not come on
The power LED does not light
up
No power
Check:
- power supply 12 Volts
When pressing the on/off
switch
- The power LED does not light
up
- all the LEDs in the rows light up
briefly in red
- 4 "beeps" sound
Short-circuit
between the earth
and the 8 Volt cell
power supply
disconnect all the rows at the
connection plate on the cell harness
switch on the KMS208
If the anomaly persists
Check:
- the condition of the main cell harness
As soon as the anomaly stops
- reconnect the rows one by one
- check KMS208 functions
(this helps identify the faulty row)
To test the faulty row
- Disconnect and verify the resistance between points 1 and 3 of the cell on the harness side
The resistance must be infinite (> Megaohms)
- Check the condition of the cable (crushed or trapped)
When the problem is solved, reconnect everything and switch on the KMS208
