Putting into service

Attach PTO shaft guard chain in hole (1) on machine
side.
Secondary PTO shaft
The secondary pto shaft is fitted with a shear bolt torque
limiter.
In difficult working conditions (clogging) that can cause
machine jamming, the shear bolt shears.
Shear bolt replacement:
- Remove cover (1).
- Remove the fragments of the bolt from the jaws.
- Match the holes in the jaws.
- Fit a new bolt (2) inside yoke.
• Part no. 80060850
- Screw up and tighten the self-locking nut moderately.
• Part no. 80200830
- Reinstall cover (1).
Immediately replace any worn or damaged
guard.

Before carrying out any maintenance or
repairs on the machine, switch off the tractor
engine, remove ignition key, wait until all
moving parts have come to a standstill and
apply park brake.
To ensure that the torque limiter works
properly, use only KUHN shear bolts.
