Putting into service
Frame height and check chains.
- Lower the tractor lift linkage so that hitch pins are at a
distance H = 380 mm (1’2’’) from the ground.
- Insert hook (1) in check chain link corresponding to
the required frame height and lock using roll pin (2).
- Attach check chain supplied with the machine to one
of the upper free holes at the tractor's top link
attachment clevis.
- Lower the tractor's lift linkage to tension the check
chain.
The tractor lift linkage is in working position.
The height is correct when:
• The cutterbar is resting on the ground.
• The check chain is under tension (1).
• The distance H = 320 mm (1’).
• The 2 hitch pins are parallel to the ground.
