Before folding side guards:
- Rotate rotor by hand until non-disconnectable tine
arms are positioned to the front on each side of the
beam.
- Pull release cord until stop pins are released (1).
- Activate double acting valve to raise guards (2).
- When cylinder (3) bottoms, release cord and shift
tractor hydraulic valve back to neutral.
- Rotate rotor by hand until fully locked with rotor
lock (1)
.
The folding of the side guards activates the rotor
pre-locking by means of link rods (2).
Check that rotor lock (1) is fully engaged.
The rotor must no longer rotate.
