Parking
To avoid personal injury:
BEFORE DISMOUNTING TRACTOR
A
ALWAYS SET PARKING BRAKE AND LOWER
ALL IMPLEMENTS TO THE GROUND.
A
STOP THE ENGINE AND REMOVE THE KEY.
1. When parking, be sure to set the parking brake.
To set the parking brake;
(1) Interlock the brake pedals.
(2) Depress the brake pedals.
(3) Latch the brake pedals with the parking brake
lever.
A
To prevent damage to the parking brake lever, make
sure that brake pedals are fully depressed before
pulling the parking brake lever up.
2. Before getting off the tractor, disengage the PTO,
lower all implements to the ground, place all control
levers in their neutral positions, set the parking brake,
stop the engine and remove the key.
3. If it is necessary to park on an incline, be sure to chock
the wheels to prevent accidental rolling of the
machine.

Differential Lock
To avoid personal injury due to loss of steering
control:
A
Do not operate the tractor at high speed with
differential lock engaged.
A
Do not attempt to turn with the differential lock
engaged.
A
Be sure to release the differential lock before
making a turn in field conditions.
If one of the rear wheels should slip, step on the
differential lock pedal. Both wheels will then turn together,
reduce slippage.
Differential lock is maintained only while the pedal is
depressed.
A
When using the differential lock, always slow the
engine down.
A
To prevent damage to power train, do not engage
differential lock when one wheel is spinning and the
other is completely stopped.
A
If the differential lock cannot be released, step lightly
on the brake pedals alternately.

(B) Release to "DISENGAGE"
