Checking the water separator of the fuel system
Check the water separator (1) for water content and con-
tamination, clean if necessary (page 89).
The cock (2) should be vertical in the "O" position.
Lubrication
Start the engine (page 53).
Position the boom, arm, bucket and dozer as shown in the
figure. Lock the control lever, stop the engine and remove
the ignition key. See the "Operating the controls during ex-
cavation work" section (page 63).
Lubricate all grease points (see figure below) with grease -
see the "Recommended lubricants" section (page 100) - un-
til fresh grease emerges.
