Magnet Switch Continuity Test
1. Check the continuity across the
C
terminal (1) and the
B
terminal
(2) with a circuit tester, pushing in the plunger.
2. If not continuous or if a certain value is indicated, replace the
magnet switch.

No-load Dynamo Output
1. Disconnect the lead wires from the dynamo.
2. Start the engine and operate the dynamo at the specified speed.
3. Measure the output voltage with a volt meter.
If the measurement is not within the specified values, replace the
dynamo.
