In Line Bearing Housing
The motor spindle hub has a 1/2" pipe plug and a dipstick
located on the top side of deck housing.
1. Disengage blade hydraulics. Make sure blades have
come to a complete stop.
2. Set cutter down on level ground.
3. Set park brake, shut engine off, and remove switch
key before continuing.
4. Unscrew the dipstick and wipe the stick clean with a
clean paper towel or cloth. Hand screw the dipstick
back into the bearing housing and let it set for a few
seconds. Unscrew the dipstick again and check to
see if the stick has any fluid on it. If it doesn't then
fluid must be added.
5. Add EP 80-90 weight gearlube as required. Full
capacity of motor housing is approximately 85 oz.
6. Re-install dipstick and tighten.
