Post Hole Digger Hitch Plate

Unhook Post Hole Digger
Refer to Figure 1-8 & Figure 1-9:
DANGER
!
To avoid serious injury or death:
1.
Rotate top of tilt arms back and lower Skid Steer/
Tractor loader arms down until auger tip touches the
ground.
2.
Slowly back Skid Steer/Tractor up while continuing to
lower loader arms down until auger flighting and
auger hitch plate are resting on the ground.
3.
Always shut power machine down using “Power
Machine Shutdown Procedure” on page 9 before
dismounting the power machine.
4.
Disconnect hydraulic hoses. It may be necessary to
release hydraulic pressure in the lines before hoses
will disconnect from the loader.
5.
Pull lock handles up on skid steer/loader hitch plate
to remove lock pins from the bottom slots in the auger
hitch plate.
6.
Restart Skid Steer/Tractor and slowly rotate tilt arms
forward while lowering loader arms down until skid
steer/loader hitch plate and top angle bars on the
auger hitch plate have separated.
7.
Back slowly away from the auger hitch plate making
sure the skid steer/loader hitch plate is clear and
does not interfere with unit.
8.
Raise loader arms to a safe traveling height.
