Cold start button

The cold start button

is fitted on the left on the throttle valve body.
The injection system extends the injection time if the engine is cold and the outside
temperature is low. The engine can only burn the increased fuel quantity if it receives
more air. It obtains more air by pulling the cold start button.
Possible states
• The cold start button is activated
–
The cold start button is pulled out all the way.
• The cold start button is deactivated
–
The cold start button is pushed in all the
way.
