Pull off the fuel tank breathers

Remove screws

Open the quick release of the fuel line

on the left and right.

Remove screws

of the left and right halves of the fuel tank.

Remove the fuel tank on the left and right.
Info
Set the fuel tank halves down in an upright position as otherwise fuel can
escape from the fuel tank breathers at the filler cap.

Position the fuel tank. Mount and tighten screws

Guideline
Screw, front fuel tank M8 8 Nm (5.9 lbf ft)
–
Clean quick release of fuel line

and connect it.
–
Repeat the operation on the opposite side.

Mount and tighten screws

Screw, front fuel tank M8 8 Nm (5.9 lbf ft)
–
Connect the hoses

of the fuel tank breather without kinking.
Finishing work
–
Mount the seat. ( p. 48)
