Checking the engine oil level

The engine oil level can be checked when the engine is cold or warm.
–
Stand the motorcycle upright on a horizontal surface.

The engine is cold.
–
Check the engine oil level.
The engine oil level is up to the middle
of the level viewer.
» If the engine oil is not up to the middle of the level viewer:
–
Add engine oil. (
Condition
The engine is at operating temperature.
–
Check the engine oil level.

After switching off the engine, wait one minute before checking the
level.
The engine oil is at a level between the middle
and upper edge
of the
level viewer.
» If the engine oil is not up to the middle

Engine oil and gear oil get very hot when the motorcycle is ridden.

Wear appropriate protective clothing and safety gloves. In case of burns, rinse immediately with lukewarm water.

Oil, grease, filters, fuel, cleaners, brake fluid, etc., should be disposed of as stipulated in applicable regulations.

Drain the engine oil only when the engine is warm.

with the magnet and seal ring.
