Removing the front frame sliders

Remove screw


Take off frame slider


–
Pull the second frame slider with the linkage arm out of the wheel spindle.

Installing the front frame sliders

Position the frame slider with the linkage arm in the wheel spindle.

Mount frame slider

on the linkage arm.
–
Mount and tighten screw


Remaining chassis screws M6 10 Nm (7.4 lbf ft)

Removing the front wheel

Raise the rear of the motorcycle with lifting gear. ( p. 54)

Raise the front of the motorcycle with lifting gear. ( p. 54)

Remove the front frame sliders. ( p. 70)

Remove screws

from both brake calipers.
–
Press back the brake linings with a light lateral tilting of the brake calipers on the
brake disc. Pull the brake calipers carefully back from the brake discs and hang
them to one side.

Do not pull the hand brake lever when the brake calipers are removed.

Loosen screws


Unscrew screw

about six turns and press your hand on the screw to push the
wheel spindle out of the axle clamp. Remove screw


Warning
Danger of accidents Reduced braking efficiency caused by damaged brake
discs.

Always lay the wheel down in such a way that the brake discs are not
damaged.
–
Holding the front wheel, withdraw the wheel spindle. Take the front wheel out of
the fork.
