Advanced > SMTP
This section describes how to configure the SMTP server.
1.
SMTP Server
A.
Server Name – Enter the SMTP server’s Network address or host name.
Important:
A DNS server must be specified in the
Setup>Advanced>Advanced network
if you are using a
host name.
B.
User Name – Enter the user account which is registered with the SMTP server.
C.
Password – Enter the user password.
Note:
If your mail server does not require authentication, you don’t need to enter the user name and
password.
