Adjusting the raking height mechanically

The raking height is adjusted by means of a hand crank (1), located each time to the left and
right of the rotary arm.
The raking height must be adjusted so that the tine tips lightly touch the ground. If necessary,
this adjustment can be corrected during operation.
This means:
If the setting is too high, the forage is not completely taken up.
If the setting is too low, the danger exists of soiling the forage, damaging the sward and causing
considerable wear of the double coil spring tines.
