Removal
•
Withdraw the linch pins (1).
•
Remove the tine bars (2) from the coupling arms and
lock them in their transport rack (3) located on the
carrier frame. Make sure that the tines face the
inside.
•
Lock the tine bars (2) using the linch pins (1).
3.5 Swath former
The distance between the swath former and the swather
disk is infinitely adjustable for narrow or wide swath
formation.
Loosen the adjusting screw (7), move the swath
former (8) into the desired position, retighten adjusting
screw (7).
The distance between the swath former and the
swather disk is adjusted to the feed quantity.
A lot of feed
=
larger distance
Not much feed
=
smaller distance
The travelling speed should be selected based on the
appearance of the swath = (clean tine work with good
swath formation).

3.4 Setting the safety frames to
transport position
Unlock pin (4) and fold the safety frames (1) either
side into transport position.
Be sure that the safety frames are secured by the
locking facility (5).

3.3 Setting the safety frames to
working position
The outer safety frames (1) are additionally secured for
the transport of the swather. To set the safety frames to
working position, proceed as follows:
Remove the linch pins (2).
Release the locking levers (3) above the pivots.
Fold out the outer safety frames (1) at either side into
working position.
Move the locking levers (3) over the pivots and secure
using the linch pins (2).
Be sure that the outer safety frames are securd by pin
(4).
