The BCU 465 has been designed
with a cycle time between two start-
ups. This is to avoid overheating the
ignition transformer as the result of
excessively frequent switching. Cy-
cling the BCU on/off too quickly will
lead to a fault signal. The minimum
cycle time depends on the safety pe-
riod and on the ignition transformer
used.
