The M-PHASE 5000 is suitable for installation in hazardous areas of zone 1 or 2, gas group IIB,
temperature class T4.
The instrument junction box contains terminals for Power and Signal connections.(all in type of
protection Ex e).
For electrical data of these terminals, refer to section 3.2.
The Ethernet is terminated on a connector at the outside of the field junction box. This connector
is an Ex e type connector and does not supply power over Ethernet. This connector is intended to
be used by qualified service personnel.
