Step 4: Connect the inputs and outputs
Always switch OFF the power on each device before connecting it to your
VS-21TS
. For best results, we recommend that you
always use Kramer high-performance cables to connect AV equipment to
VS-21TS
. You can connect either Ethernet or HDBT
sources and acceptors.
Step 5: Connect the power
Connect the 5V DC power adapter to
VS-21TS
and plug it into the mains electricity. Upon power up, IN/OUT 1 is automatically
routed to OUT/IN.

There are no operator serviceable parts inside the unit.

Step 6: Operate VS-21TS
Select an input (IN/OUT 1 or IN/OUT 2) via the contact closure remote control (also
known as push-to-make momentary contact). To do so, momentarily connect the
required pin on the REMOTE terminal block connector to the G (Ground) pin.
For example, to select IN/OUT 1, momentarily connect pin 1 to the G pin. To select
IN/OUT 2, momentarily connect pin 2 to the G pin.
