5.2 Connecting your VP-504xl UXGA/HD Scan Converter
To connect your
VP-504xl
as the example in Figure 6 illustrates, do the
following

1. Connect a high definition source

to the HD15F INPUT connector (for
example, a set top box).
2. Connect the Y/C OUT 4p connector to the Y/C acceptor (for example, an
s-Video recorder) and/or the CV OUT BNC connector to the CV acceptor
(for example, a composite video recorder).
3. If required, connect a PC or controller to the RS-232 port (see section 5.3).
4. Set the dipswitches (see section 6.4.2).
5. Connect the 12V DC power adapter to the power socket and connect the
adapter to the mains electricity (not shown in Figure 6).
Adjust the Scan Converter features if required (see section 6.3).
