This guide helps you install and use your
KW-14T

KW-14R
for the first time.

Step 1: Check
what’s in the box
Depending on your purchase, the box contains the
KW-14T
, the
KW-14R
, or both devices.
KW-14T
Wireless HD Transmitter
includes:

1 IR Emitter cable
KW-14R
Wireless HD Receiver
includes:
1 Power adapter

Remote control transmitter with batteries
1 Quick start guide
Step 2: Connect inputs and outputs
Always switch OFF the power on each device before connecting it to your
KW-14T
and/or
KW-14R
.
Step 3: Mount KW-14T and/or KW-14R
Mount the
KW-14T
and/or
KW-14R
to a wall or furniture. When mounting, the devices, note the following:
•
Mount the receiver(s) no farther than 30m (100ft) from the transmitter (reduce the distance if transmission is not line-
of-sight) and no closer than 2m (6.5ft) to the transmitter (be mindful of units located behind walls in adjacent rooms).
•
Up to four transmitters can operate in the same room or environment, depending on local regulations.
•
When installing more than four transmitters in the same environment, ensure that there is at least a 45m (150 feet)
radius around the outermost units in each group
•
Ensure that the environment (e.g., maximum ambient temperature & air flow) is compatible for the device.
•
Avoid uneven mechanical loading.
•
Appropriate consideration of equipment nameplate ratings should be used for avoiding overloading of the circuits.
•
Maximum mounting height for the device is 2 meters.
