NOTE: The appliance and its individual shutoff valve must be disconnected from the gas supply piping system during any
pressure testing of that system at pressures in excess of ½ psi.
NOTE: The appliance must be isolated from the gas supply piping system by closing its individual manual shut-off valve during
any pressure testing of the gas line at test pressures equal to or less than ½ psi (3.5 kPa).
IMPORTANT NOTICE:
Pressure check taps for manifold (outgoing) and inlet (incoming) pressure have been incorporated into
the valve. The pressure tap marked OUT measures outgoing pressure and the pressure tap marked
IN measures incoming pressure. Follow instructions below for proper testing procedures.
INLET PRESSURE TEST:
PRESSURE TESTING
NOTE: If inlet pressure reading is too high or too low, contact the gas company. Only a qualified gas service technician should adjust
incoming gas pressure.
CAUTION: A LOW PRESSURE READING CAN CAUSE DELAYED IGNITION
