Device and system description
This chapter contains information on the scope of delivery for the drive controller and the function
description.
2.1
PROFIBUS
With the help of the PROFIBUS, devices from various providers can communicate without special
adaptation.
PROFIBUS differentiates between master and slave devices independently, so that multi-master
operation is also possible.

INFORMATION
A repeater must be used when more than 32 devices (e.g. INVEOR) are operated on one
PROFIBUS string.
