4.2 PAL/NTSC
Press OK to select PAL or NTSC output to match your
TV or other video equipment.
4.3 Progressive Scan
Press OK to turn on or off Progressive Scan video
output. Warning message will follow, press OK to
confirm. Refer to page 7 for connection details.
5.1 Dynamic Range Compression (DRC)
Press OK to turn on/off.
Note: This controls the Dynamic Range Compression
(DRC) for night time listening. DRC reduces difference
between normal voices and sounds like an explosion
without waking your neighbors. The amount of range
control available depends on the disc.
5.2 Digital Output
Press OK to check the box if you have connected the
player’s digital audio output to a receiver with Dolby
Digital or DTS decoding.
Use Active Navigation keys to select a sub-menu
and then press Ok
Select one of the 7 languages as default language for
player menus, disc menus, audio and subtitle lan-
guage.
Press OK to confirm selection.
Note: The selected default language is only applica-
ble if the playing disc has the selected language
available.
