Insert the tip into the spindle and tighten with the key (drawing 1)
NOTE: Selection of the appropriate tip.
Cement or stone: Use a hard alloy tip.
Metal or plastic: use a normal helix tip for metals.
Wood: Use a normal wood tip. For holes with a diameter less than 6.5mm, it is best
to choose metal tips.
To puncture metal pieces, press the button with the drill symbol and insert a stan-
dard twist drill tip. Holes can be drilled as shown in drawing 2 (A, B, C).
To drill into wood press the key with the drill symbol and insert a tip for wood or
metal, depending on the diameter of the hole you intend to make (drawing 3).
To drill cement, stone, etc., place the switch on percussion, that is, press the key
with the hammer symbol. In hammer drill mode, the drill spindle rotates and simul-
taneously drills the material (drawing 4). In this case a hard alloy bit should be used.
NOTE: If the tip is inserted too deep, it may damage the manifold and may adver-
sely affect the drilling quality.
