COMPRESSOR OPERATION
CAUTION: RUN COMPRESSOR ONLY FOR 10 MINUTES AT A TIME. THEN LEAVE OFF FOR 10 MINUTES
BEFORE USING AGAIN SO THAT THE COMP RESSOR CAN CO OL DOWN.
1.
FOR TIRE INFLATION USE THE UNIVERSAL ADAPTER THAT IS ATTACHED PERMANENTLY
TO THE AIR HOSE. PLAC E THIS ADAPTER ONTO THE TIRE VALVE STEM, PRES S THE
ADAPTER LEVER DOWN TO LOCK ONTO THE VALVE STEM.
2.
FOR INFLATION OF LEATHER BALLS (FOOTBALLS, ETC) USE THE INFLATION NEEDLE. FOR
INFLATION OF OTHER PLASTIC ITEMS SUCH AS BEACH BALLS, FLOTATION DEVICES, ETC
USE ONE OF THE PLASTIC NOZZLES.
3.
CHECK PRESSURE GAUGE. DETERMINE THE DESIRED PRESSURE.
4.
TURN ON POWER SWITCH (#11).
5.
WHEN THE DESIRED PRESSURE IS REACHED TURN THE COMPRESSOR SWITCH OFF.
6.
REMOVE THE ADAPTER F ROM TIRE OR O THER ITEM BEING INFLATED.

UNSCREW AND REMOVE THE EIGHT (8) PHILLIPS (CROSS-HEAD) S CREWS THAT HOLD T HE
8.25-INCH (20.8- CENTIMETER) WIDE BY 10.75-INCH (27.8- CENTIMETERS) HIGH
RECTANGULAR COVER PLATE IN PLACE ON THE BACK OF YOUR
PORTABLE POWER
.
2.
LIFT OFF THE COVER PLATE TO EXPOSE THE BATTERY COMPARTMENT.
3.
UNSCREW THE TWO (2) PHILLIPS (CROSSHEAD) SCREWS THAT HOLD THE BATTERY
RETAINING BRACKET (AT THE TOP OF THE BATTERY) AND REMOVE.
4.
LIFT THE BATTERY OUT OF THE BATTERY COMPARTMENT.
CAUTION
TO AVOID POSSIBLE DAMAGE THAT MAY SHORTEN THE UNIT S WORKING LIFE,
ENSURE THAT THE RED AND BLACK RECHARGING WIRES STAY WITH THEIR #4
JUMPER CABLES AND ARE NOT SWITC HED.
5.
DETACH THE #4 JUMPER CABLES AND THE RED AND BLACK RECHARGING WIRES FROM
THE BATTERY TERMINALS.
6.
ENSURE THAT THE REPLACEMENT BATTERY IS ORIENTED WITH THE LABEL OUT.
7.
ENSURE THAT THE RED #4 JUMPER CABLE AND RED RECHARGING WIRE ARE ATTACHED TO
THE POSITIVE (+) BATTERY TERMINAL (ALSO MARKED WITH RED). ATTACH THE #4 JUMPER
CABLES AND THE RECHARGING WIRES TO THE BATTERY TERMINALS.
8.
TAKING CARE NO T TO DAMA GE THE CIRC UIT BOARD, SLIDE THE NEW BAT TERY IN
POSITION.
9.
RE-INSTALL THE BATTERY HOLD-DOWN BRACKET WITH THE TWO (2) PHILLIPS (CROSS-
HEAD) SCREWS
10. REPLACE THE BATT ERY COMPARTM ENT COVER AND SECURE IN PLACE WITH T HE EIGHT
(8) PHILLIPS (CROSS-HEAD) SCREWS.
