Performing Updates
A ZIP file provided by Kontron contains firmware updates for node components.
5.1.
Processor Node Update
To update the firmware of the node BMC, BIOS and FPGA:

Not possible from a CLI-type interface
Dashboard > OnClick Upgrade
Click on advanced settings
Select the platform from the dropdown list
Select the node to update from the dropdown list
Click on bundle settings
Click on CHANGE BUNDLE FILE
Select the proper .zip file
Click on Open
Wait for the transfer to finish
Click on START UPGRADE
API calls available to update a node
Notes
This operation must be done for all nodes.
5.2.
One Click Upgrade to Update all Nodes
To update the firmware of the node BMC, BIOS and FPGA of all nodes sequentially:

Dashboard > OnClick Upgrade
Click on bundle settings
Click on CHANGE BUNDLE FILE
Select the proper .zip file
Click on Open
Wait for the transfer to finish
Click on START UPGRADE
API calls available to update all nodes
Notes
The update will be performed only on the components
for which files are included in the ZIP file bundle.
