Step-by-Step MSH8900 Switch Configuration

Log In to the Switch CLI
To access the switch CLI using the Ctrl+g - command:

Use HOTKEY to redirect serial console multiplexer to
the switch CLI.
The # prompt means the switch was reached.
The serial interface of the hub includes a multiplexing functionality that can establish a serial console link with each
component of the platform through a series of hotkeys (Figure 6).
