4.3.3  Running Without a Terminal 

The board can boot up without a screen or terminal attached. If the speed is set to Auto and 
no terminal is connected, the speed is set to 115,200 bauds. 

Furthermore, you can run without any console at all by simply not enabling VT100 Mode and 
by disabling the onboard video.
