Use
Setting the power
• Press the power button. The power indicator comes on.
The display shows “2000”.
• Slide the touch slider from left to right to increase the
power.
• Slide the touch slider from right to left to decrease the
power.
Setting the temperature
• Press the temperature button. The temperature
indicator comes on. The display shows “180°”.
• Slide the touch slider from left to right to increase the
temperature.
• Slide the touch slider from right to left to decrease the
temperature.
Setting the timer
• Press the timer button. The timer indicator comes on.
The display shows “00:00”.
• Slide the touch slider from left to right to set the hours.
• Slide the touch slider from right to left to set the
minutes (5-minute steps).
• Press the timer button to confirm or wait until the
display stops flashing.
• At the end of the countdown, a beep will sound and
the device will go to standby mode.
To cancel the function:
• Press the on/off button to go to standby mode. The
timer indicator goes off.
• Press and hold the timer button to resume operation
with the set power or temperature settings. The timer
indicator goes off.
Locking the device
The device can be locked to prevent accidental operation.
• Press the lock button to lock the power button, the
temperature button and the timer button. The lock
indicator comes on.
To cancel the function:
• Press the on/off button to unlock the device. The lock
indicator goes off.
• Press and hold the lock button to unlock the device.
The lock indicator goes off.
Hints for use
• Insert the mains plug into the wall socket. A beep will
sound and the indicators flash once. The on/off
indicator starts to flash. The device is in standby mode.
• Place the cookware in the centre of the cooking zone.
• Press the on/off button to switch on the device. The
on/off indicator lights continuously. The display shows
“----”.
• Set the device according to your cooking requirements.
• After use, press the on/off button to set the device to
standby mode. The on/off indicator starts to flash.
• Remove the mains plug from the wall socket.
• Allow the device to cool down completely.

Cleaning and maintenance
Warning!
• Before cleaning or maintenance, switch off the device,
remove the mains plug from the wall socket and wait
until the device has cooled down.
• Do not use cleaning solvents or abrasives.
• Do not immerse the device in water or other liquids.
• Do not attempt to repair the device. If the device does
not operate correctly, replace it with a new device.
• Clean the outside of the device using a soft, damp
cloth. If necessary, use a little neutral detergent.
Thoroughly dry the outside of the device with a clean,
dry cloth.
• Clean the ventilation openings using a soft brush.
