Troubleshooting
Fault
Cause
Remedy
Poor capacity
Intake nozzle not correctly
adjusted
RPM on PTO too low
Belts worn or need tighte
-
ning
Air regulator cannot move
freely
Pipe system not correctly
arranged
Screen in cyclone blocked
Conveying air released
from pressure side builds
up pressure in silo, hopper,
etc., which lacks vent
Moist grain
Dirty grain
Rotary valve seals at side
covers worn
Rubber blades in rotary
valve worn
The blower is clogged after
transporting wet, oily crops,
such as rapeseed, soybe-
ans and corn, or crops con-
taining soil.
Adjust intake nozzle. See the paragraph "Adjust-
ment for maximum Capacity".
RPM on PTO must be correct.
Replace or tighten the belts.
The air regulator has not been released from the
starting position or its functioning is hampered by
dirt.
The pipeline should be kept as short as possible.
Do not use more bends and diverters than ne-
cessary. See also the paragraph
"Piping instructions".
Unclip bend from the top of the cyclone and
clean the screen.
Open so that the conveying air may escape.
When moisture is high the flow rate is poor and
the capacity is reduced.
Due to reduced flow rate and lower specific gra
-
vity the capacity is reduced when handling dirty
grain.
Replace the seals.
Replace the rubber blades.
Blower must be separated and cleaned, and
fanguard must be installed. See the section "Ap-
plication"
No capacity but the blower is
working
Blocked pipe system
Rotary valve stopped due
to a foreign
object jamming the drum
Rotary valve stopped due
to a worn or slack V-belt
Clear the pipe system. See the paragraph "Clea-
ring a blocked pipe system".
Remove the object and check for damage to the
rotary valve.
Replace or tighten the V-belts. See the
paragraph "Maintenance"
